Home and Home Features First Road Trip and Opening Rivermen-Series Wrapup

The Quad City Storm wrap up a four-game stretch of battles against the Peoria Rivermen with a home and home this weekend.  The action begins tonight at the Peoria Civic Center in the Storm’s first road game of the 2018-2019 inaugural season.  Tonight’s matchup is the home opener for the Rivermen.

 

Quad City returns to the TaxSlayer Center tomorrow night to take on Peoria again.  The game theme is Disco Night and fans are encouraged to where their coolest 70’s clothes and enjoy great hockey, a fun atmosphere and hot tunes from the funkiest music era ever.  The game will be raising funds for the Salvation army and assisting them in kicking off Red Kettle season.  Fans can get tickets for the game at Ticketmaster.com.

 

Storm Stingers:

Kristaps Nimanis was placed on the 30-day IR on Wednesday.

 

Fresh Faces:

The Storm added defenseman Ross Scherma to their roster on Tuesday.  Scherma, 25, is a second-year pro and played previously this season for the Evansville Thunderbolts.  He is a native of Seekonk, MA.
