Huntsville, AL. February 1, 2019 -- Friday and Saturday the Quad City Storm will be on the road again to play two games versus the Huntsville Havoc.


Weekend Recap

The Storm dropped two one-goal games this past weekend in Knoxville. Friday’s game was lost 2-1. The singular goal scored by the Storm was during the second period when a wrist shot from Tyler Minx bounced off the shoulder of Jason Pawloski into the air and down into the net. Saturday’s game saw more offense from the Storm with goals by Shane Bennett, Austin Hervey, and Sean Kacerosky. The storm dropped game two versus the Ice Bears 4-3.


How’s the Havoc?

When the Storm last saw the Havoc early in January Huntsville won 7-2. Since then the Havoc have played eight games winning six and losing two. Huntsville’s Ryan Salkeld has 32 points this season and enters this weekend tied for fourth in the league with 15 goals.


February at the TaxSlayer Center

This month at the TaxSlayer will be filled with Storm hockey! After three weeks on the road the guys will return to home ice February 9th for Hockey Fights cancer night. The following weekend Quad City hosts three straight games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The last game of the month will be on Tuesday, February 26th versus Roanoke featuring $2 beers.
