Storm Fall In Finale of Three Game Road Trip

The Storm dropped the finale of a three-game road trip 3-1 Saturday night in Knoxville in their first ever meeting with the Ice Bears.

Knoxville scored first but Quad City was able to answer at 14:40 of the second period when a slapshot from Ben Boukal bounced off of Tommy Tsicos and in the net to make it 1-1.  The game stayed tied into the third period.

The Storm dominated the second period and carried momentum into the second but eventually fell victim to playing their third game in three nights with about a thousand miles on the bus mixed in.  Brandon Wahlin recorded his first points as an Ice Bear, scoring goal two and three on the way to the Ice Bears 8th win of the season.

The Storm fall to 5-10-2 and will be back at the TaxSlayer Center Friday and Saturday to do battle with the Peoria Rivermen.  Get your tickets at
